HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!! ^o^

Well, I haven't updated in a while, too lazy to..haha. BUT I got a lot done, although it doesn't look like much yet. Bad news was that I misplaced a stitch so I had to redo a certain spot, I wasn't too thrilled. >:[

but everything turned out fine. :]

Still working...

Finally able to get more done. I think it's turning out nicely, although it does take forever to stitch. Doesn't help of my thread gets all tangled or if I lose my needle. So far, I have yet to miscount the squares or the number of stitches I'm supposed to do. :)

Never mind, I found the needle...it was behind my mug. XD

I should watch where I step...zzz

Hm..cross-stitching seems to make me sleepy. I guess I put a lot of strain on my eyes. Took me a day and a half to do this....it's gonna take a looong time.

I also seem to have misplaced one of my needles, that's not good, not good at all... O_o

I'm a rebel! XD

Although they suggested starting from the middle of the piece, I decided to be a rebel and start from the side. But I counted the squares correctly so that everything will be centered at the end. :D Plus, I cross-stitched before so as long as I count the squares correctly, everything will be fine..I hope. o_O

My Christmas present!

So I got a cross-stitch kit for Christmas! :) It's going to be so fun! I'll just keep this blog going to see how my progress is going. The finished piece should be 15"x9", and you'll just have to guess what the artwork actually is. XD

So I just stitched the edges so it won't get frayed as I stitch, but ironically they started fraying up as I was stitching them. I have lots of differently colored thread...wonder what they'll make.
